Daylesford was one of the towns founded from the discovery of gold, this lake was established in 1929, a very close walk from the Daylesford town centre, with streets lined with lots of deciduous trees.
This place was featured in an eHarmony television advertisement about 2 years ago; which pictured a conventionally good-looking man with a long-stemmed flower in hand, awaiting by the Daylesford lake bridge... waiting for the one. Waiting for you...
