Warratina Lavender Farm

Lavandula angustifolia

The lavender farm began in 1991 when founder Annemarie grew a small plot of lavender on land which was previously a cherry orchard. It now contains over 10,000 lavenders of various cultivars and subspecies, and is open to the public free of charge, as well as offering catering and function rooms for hire.

Went there on ANZAC day, in the pouring rain. But the clouds managed to hold back just long enough for me to be able to capture photographs.
The rest of the time was spent in their quaint, humble little cafe (though they burnt the coffee!), where they specialised in lavender-flavoured items such as lavender teas, honey, jams, and scones (I highly recommend the black lavender tea, and lavender scones).

Their plants are commercially grown, along with most of their lavender products made on-site, and sold both online, and distributed to other stockists.

Opening hours are:
Wednesday - Monday
9am - 5pm
Closed Tuesday
