National Rhododendron Gardens

40 hectares, with views of the Australian Alps

In Olinda, Monbulk Rd. Obviously visited the place when rhododendrons weren't in bloom.
They specialise in rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias, cherries, and daffodils.
They also have Eucalyptus regnans (Tall Mountain Ash); the tallest flowering tree in the world, and the place overlooks Silvan Reservoir, Yarra Valley, Warburton Ranges and Mount Baw Baw.

Some trick photography there - the ones with the lake; can you see it?

Free entry
Everyday minus Christmas: 10am - 5pm
